Just a short and sweet blog today. I’m curious about how people that are having success marketing through unpaid messaging on LinkedIn.
I’m getting saturated with messages from connections (literally 4-5 daily). They are easy to spot from the word GO because they tend to be long messages and have links or attachments. I just ignore them and move on.
The only luck we’ve had messaging strangers with LinkedIn (or via email) is sending brief and clear messages to open the conversation.

So I’m befuddled by the methodology. The only thing I can think of that is working for salespeople is that they are sending out 1,000 messages a day and playing the old “spin the bottle” mass email method. If you are doing this, shorten your message and I think you’ll be taken more seriously and have more success.
There’s got to be a better way to prospect?
I’d love to hear your thoughts so feel free to comment below or drop me a message directly.
It’s time to grow faster~ Drew
