Keep it Simple Stupid (K.I.S.S.)

Your words are very powerful. Please don’t overuse them.

When communicating, less is more. Open-ended questions are the best things that can come out of your mouth whether you are meeting with someone in person or talking on the telephone.

Know your product or service and focus on a target market. Then all you need to do is understand your audience, adjust to them and their conditions, and customize your solution.

Try to get them to talk 75% of the time. Attempt to share your pitch out in three sentences or less.

Use some of these words your prospects and clients love to hear:

  • Their name
  • Discover
  • Easy
  • Guarantee
  • Health
  • Love
  • Money
  • New
  • Proven
  • Results
  • Safety
  • Save
  • You

Ask your clients and prospects open-ended questions about their business and their job related to your product or service. Listen, write it down, and follow up.

Keep it simple (stupid).
